About us
A club where you learn more than technique
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art built on leverage, technique and timing – not brute strength. That is why anyone can train it, regardless of age, size or fitness.
At Panther BJJ we focus on structured training, safety and a team that supports each other. Whether you want to get fit, learn self-defence or win medals, there is a place for you here.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience or fitness?
No. Most of our members started from zero. Fitness comes with training – you don’t need to “get in shape first”.
What should I bring to my first class?
Sports clothes without zips or pockets, a towel, water and flip-flops for walking to the mats. You don’t need a kimono to start – a T-shirt is fine.
Is BJJ safe?
Yes. There are no punches or kicks in BJJ, and you can stop any technique at any time by tapping.
Do you have classes for kids?
Yes – in Boskovice we run classes for kids and for juniors. Tell us your child’s age and we’ll recommend the right group.
Do I need a kimono (gi)?
Not for your first classes. If you decide to continue, we’ll help you choose one. For No-Gi classes, shorts and a rashguard or T-shirt are enough.
Are classes open to women?
Absolutely! Women train in all our classes, and BJJ is great for self-defence too.
Can I drop in without a monthly pass?
Yes, you can pay for a single drop-in. The monthly pass is not required.
